Brian Keeler has been painting in many genres over his career, mainly landscapes, figures, portraits, and genre scenes, however he has also created a body of work in the still life category. Caravaggio called still life the most creative of the genres as the artist has the most control and creative freedom in this style.
The North Star Art Gallery in Ithaca will be featuring this exhibit of Brian Keeler's still life work along with some other respected regional artists who work in still life. Look for more info on this later in 2018.
